Seminar Outline

In July 2020, the Osaka Startup Ecosystem Consortium, as part of the Osaka-Kyoto-Hyogo-Kobe Consortium, was selected as one of Japan’s "Global Startup Cities*" by the Japanese government. Expected is that Osaka and the Kansai region will develop further as a global and innovative city.

In this seminar, we invited real estate developers and companies to talk about the current commercial real estate (office market) in Osaka, which is difficult to predict in this situation where the form and function of offices, and our way of working, are being newly questioned as a result of COVID-19. They will also elaborate on the future business environment of Osaka, the development of the Umeda area, which is currently attracting attention, and the Umeda area as an innovation base.
